DERMAL FILLER (CHEEK, JAW, CHIN, PERIORAL, FOREHEAD OR TEMPLES)

Treatment description

We use sophisticated dermal fillers that are made of Hyaluronic Acid (or HA), a substance that’s found naturally in the body, but diminishes as we age.

Because HA is something that our body produces – albeit it in lesser quantities as we age – the dermal filler is happily accepted and restores hydration and plumpness to the tissues. Once injected into the skin it is easily broken down over a period of months. It’s far from permanent; which in itself is reassuring. And it’s not only used in the lips; it can plump out wrinkles, restore volume to cheeks and eradicate those vertical lines at the side of your mouth.

We use the RHA range of premium facial dermal fillers from Teoxane, Europe’s number one company for non-surgical aesthetic products. Teoxane’s advanced products contain Lidocaine to help numb the treated area simultaneously during treatment. This has proven to improve patients’ experience.

This was my first time having any sort of aesthetic treatment and it was an excellent experience from start to finish.

Everything was explained in great detail, answered all my questions and put me at ease throughout. Her clinic is spotless and very professional. I am very happy with the results and I would highly recommend Stephanie to family and friends. She is amazing and I’ve already booked in for more treatments.

Visited Stephanie after reading good reviews. I can confirm that the reviews were justified. Very friendly and professional, giving great advice, and also listening to your requests and what you’d like.

Absolutely recommended by me, and will be my go to person, from now on.

Frequently Asked Questions

It varies from person to person, but most swelling occurs in the first 24-48 hours then starts to go down.

Some people have very little and don’t need any downtime and can go about their daily life straight away, although we wouldn’t plan it right before an important event just in case.

We don’t recommend using sunbeds for 2 weeks after filler treatment as you can get increased swelling.

In order to address the lines at the side of your mouth you’d require some filler. It’s important to note that the lines won’t disappear completely but will look much better.

Potential side effects of marionette line treatments can include bruising, swelling, redness or tenderness. You might also experience uneven results or lumps, and in rare cases, infection or allergic reactions could occur.

Sure, healthier habits can help. Regular exercise tightens your skin, while a balanced diet boosts collagen production. So, you’re combating marionette lines naturally. However, it won’t erase them like treatments do.

Yes, natural remedies can help treat marionette lines. Regular facial exercises can tone the muscles and promote blood flow. Hydrating well, eating a healthy diet, and avoiding sun exposure could also reduce these lines.

Yes, there’s a genetic predisposition to developing marionette lines. Your genes can influence how your facial skin ages and loses elasticity over time, which can contribute to the formation of these lines.

Like a master chef selects ingredients, choose skincare products with retinol and peptides. They’re known to stimulate collagen production, helping to smooth marionette lines over time. Consult a dermatologist for personalised advice.

As you age, your skin loses elasticity and collagen, the proteins responsible for maintaining its firmness. This leads to sagging and deepening of nasolabial folds, making them more noticeable with time.

Yes, your nasolabial folds can be hereditary. Your genes play a role in determining your skin’s elasticity and fat distribution, both of which can influence the development of these smile lines.

Yes, certain facial exercises can potentially lessen the appearance of your nasolabial folds. By toning and strengthening the underlying muscles, you’re able to create a naturally fuller and smoother look over time.

Surgical treatment for smile lines carries risks like infection, scarring, and nerve damage. It may also result in asymmetry or an unnatural look. Always discuss potential risks with your surgeon before proceeding.

Like a thief robbing you of youth, smoking accelerates skin aging. It reduces blood flow and damages collagen, making your skin lose its elasticity quicker. This eventually deepens your nasolabial folds or smile lines.
